Overview
The Witzenberg Municipality Council consists of twenty three elected Councillors, which run in coalition as per the results of the November 2021 election.
Executive Mayor Katriena Robyn
Cllr Katriena Robyn was officially appointed as the Executive Mayor of Witzenberg Municipality at a special Council meeting on 17 October 2023. Cllr Katriena Robyn aims to focus upon alleviating the plight of the poor, creating opportunities for realistic and sustainable economic development, establishing safe, open recreational spaces for the youth, improving service delivery standards as well as marketing Witzenberg to be nationally competitive as a tourism destination.
